Yesterday night
shakira performed for the second time (after the nordic music
awards) her "Don't Bother"! Shakira make her
appearance inside a car and then got outside starting her
performance!
Shakira also got the award for the Best Female, surprising her audience who probably tought she wouldn't have won! She said she didn't expect it and her surprised face when she heard Jon Legend say her name can confirm it! :D She didn't prepare any speech, she simply thank everyone for voting her and in the end she spoke portuguese.
Well... to everyone who voted for her: great job guys!!

3 weeks before the MTV Europe Music Awards, which will be in Lisbona next november, 3rd,
the number of the performer grews up: Shakira is one of them!
The colombian singer, who has already achived an international success with her spanish
album "Fijacion Oral Vol. 1", will be on the stage in Lisbona, performing for the very
first time her new single "Don't Bother". The song is the first single from her english
album, "Oral Fixation Vol. 2", which will be in stores on november, 28th.
It will be a great exclusive that Shakira will give to the Mtv Europe Music Awards
audience.

Some official news about Oral Fixation Vol. 2
|
As you all know, Don't Bother is the first single of the new album and you'll be able to watch the exclusive "Making The Video" on October, 27 (MTV USA). The direction of the video will be by Jaume de Laiguana, the same one for "No". The single cd will be in stores few days later, on 4th November.
The album's tracks will be 10 unreleased songs, + 2 bonus tracks: "Dia Especial" (english version) and "Make Me Believe" (the english version of "En Tus Pupilas").
The "suspected" duet with Santana is now a certainty: the title of the song is "Illegal" and it could possibly be released as the second single.

The album will be in stores on 28th or 29th november. Its sound will have more rock and electronical influences than Fijacion Oral Vol. 1 and the main themes will talk about social issues, rather than love. Shakira had also co-worked with her usual "collegues", so Lester Mendez and Luis F. Ochoa.

pasò en la historia: un video en espanol superó la superhit de Sean Paul - y le robó la numero uno -
en el pais donde la musica hip-hop es la regina!

Despues de tres meses de salir a la venta Fijacion Oral Vol.1, Shakira sigue dominando las listas de ventas sobretodo en una de las mas importantes, la Billboard Chart.
Bien quieto en la numero 1 de hace 13 semanas el cd de Shaky reina la clasifica Latina de los albums mas vendidos en Estados Unidos. Pero la cosa mas incredible es la subida de el album en la Hot Billboard 200 la clasifica de los cds mas vendidos en U.s.a, esta semana colocandose en la poscion n°36 en subida, un puesto muy alto para un album en español en clasifica de hace 13 semanas, pero no podemos olvidar el gran debut de oro en esta lista donde entro directamente a la poscion n°4 conquistando un guinnes como el cd en español mas vendido en la historia en la primera semana de ventas.
Pero a Shakira no le basta y queda tambien firme a la °1 de las Hot Latin Tracks con "La Tortura", donde tiene una primicia de 15 semanas no consecutivas en el primer puesto, pero podemos tambien ver su presencia en la Billboard Hot 100 la lista de los sencillos mas vendidos en U.s.a donde esta semana alcanza la posicion n°24 la mas alta alcanzada por una cancion en español. Tambien esta semana sube en la posicion n°24 en las Hot Digitals Tracks.
En tres meses batiendo records de ventas, promociones, social y mucho mas Shaky conquista el mundo imponiendose como la diva Latina mas famosa en el mundo.

The LAUNDRY SERVICE singer is so proud of her modest roots, she is determined to pour much-needed cash into the poverty-stricken area through her own charity, the Barefeet Foundation.

"MEXICO D.F. (Notimex).- The Colombian singer Shakira achieved a triple platinum disc in very little time, when she surpassed in Mexico sales of 300,000 copies of her album "Fijacion Oral".
At the moment, it`s being played at a national level the song "No", the second single from "Fijacion Oral", informed her record label.
Besides the good notices that she`s recieved for the high sales of her album in Spanish, Shakira is giving the finishing touches to her second album "Oral Fixation Volume 2", in which will be completely in English and will be released in November of this year.

November 15 her new album “Oral Fixation”, with all the
songs in English, was written at the same time that the work in
Spanish “Fijacion Oral”. "Oral Fixation" also

they were Alexander Sanz and Gustavo Cerati, now they are The
Black Eyed Peas in "Kiss Your Lips" and Carlos Santana

Shakira esta en la historia: por la primera vez una presentacion completamente en español a los Video Music Awards. Paso ayer por la noche, quando con una memorable presentacion que levanto los termometros de Miami con un ingreso de fuego y un video intro a 360 grados!Todo acompañado por la segunda vez despues de la presentacion en Madrid, por su "compañero de equipo" Alejandro Sanz (que presnto un nuevo look para la ocasion).

| La presentacion exitosa, como lo confirmaron los gritos del publico y los comentarios del presentador P.Diddy, compensaron los premios que no pudo conquistar, aunque con las tres nominations que tenia (Best Female, Best Dance, Viewers' Choice). Pero los reconociemientos de seguro no faltaran a la llegada de Oral Fixation Vol.2!
